Jaspal Singh
has an M. A. in English from Panjab University, Chandigarh and an M. Phil. in the
subject from the University of Delhi. His areas of interest are English
Language Teaching, Satire, Shakespearean and Renaissance Drama.
He
joined the Department of English, PGDAV Evening College, in 1998. In addition
to his teaching work, he has actively contributed to the administration of the
College over the years. He has served at important positions, such as
Coordinator of the UGC – sponsored Remedial Classes in English for Weaker
Students and Advisor to the College Students Union. He has been a member of
various committees including the Academic Affairs, Library and Magazine
committees. He has had an extensive association with the College Timetable
Committee, including as Convener.
